Ep. 13: The Emperor of Demise Appears and Kobayashi Convinces Tohru's Father to Let Her Stay

Tohru faces inner turmoil regarding separation from Kobayashi when her father, the Emperor of Demise, drags her back to her world. Kanna informs Kobayashi that Tohru likely cannot return, causing Kobayashi to struggle with life without her. Tohru eventually escapes to reunite with Kobayashi but is pursued by her father. Kobayashi stands up to the powerful Emperor, noting Tohru's wish to stay. Although Tohru prepares for battle, Kobayashi intervenes, asking the father to trust his daughter's wishes and convincing him to let her be. Life returns to normal, and Kobayashi invites Tohru and Kanna to meet her parents.
