The D-Team travels to Chinatown to observe the renowned touring chef Johnny Cook during a rare period of peace. However, their plans are abruptly interrupted when a Mapusaurus card activates while he is cooking, forcing the team to summon their dinosaurs. Complications arise for Max, who discovers that Laura and Rod have consumed his prized crab-and-egg fried rice. In response to this theft, Laura and Rod summon their own dinosaurs, Spiny and Tank, to engage in combat against the others. This sequence of events transforms a simple culinary outing into an unexpected battle scenario involving multiple summoned creatures and interpersonal conflict over food.
