Juri Yukawa returns home after failing her nineteenth job interview, contemplating her family's poor employment status. That same day, members of the Genuine Love Society abduct her brother Tsubasa and nephew Makoto. The cultists contact Juri, demanding a ransom of 5 million yen within 30 minutes, threatening to kill the hostages if the deadline passes. With insufficient funds available in time, Juri's grandfather reveals a special stone. This artifact creates Stasis, a frozen world where time stands still, allowing only himself, Juri, and her father Takafumi to move freely while the rest of the world remains immobilized.
