A bonus episode included with the ninth light novel volume features the group encountering Yunyun, a rival of Megumin, at Wiz's shop. Irritated by the added noise, Kazuma discovers a choker on the ground and puts it on, only to find it is enchanted to tighten until his wish is fulfilled. The group attempts to help him achieve his desires to loosen the choker, with Wiz using her thighs as headrests, Darkness doing push-ups to sway her chest, and Megumin and Yunyun playing a revealing game of rock paper scissors, while Aqua is away on a task. The episode ends with uncertainty about whether these efforts will succeed in removing the choker.
