Konoha Kaseki no Natsu

A graduate animation project by Touko Yatabe from Musashino Art University, this short film follows Rintarou, who accidentally breaks a cherished konoha fossil belonging to his father. Unable to confess, he carries the weight of guilt. While searching for fossils at a familiar riverside, he encounters another boy named Toshi. The two boys share a quiet summer experience, collecting fossils and building a connection through the layers of their shared memories.
