Two original video animations were released alongside the eighth and tenth volumes of the source material, occurring in the timeline between the first and second seasons. In one, Haruna organizes a Spring Festival at a local shrine using her signature magical-Equipment-girl approach. Meanwhile, Seraphim begins cooking to avoid being a burden to Haruna and Ayumu. A concentration game competition at school challenges Ayumu and Orito. The second OVA begins with Haruna wanting to spend more time with Hellscythe at a swimming pool. The second part focuses on Hellscythe's upcoming birthday, as Haruna plans a party in her usual style. The OVA raises questions about the nature of the party and the gifts Ayumu and others might give to Hellscythe.
