Ep. 22: Ariel confronts Nameless with lethal magic while Shun prepares for a solo duel with Hugo.
In the past, Ariel appears during a battle where Nameless fights a neighboring country, having merged souls with the dragon after killing it. Ariel, possessing some of Nameless' traits, seeks revenge and teleports to the conflict using Guliedistodiez. She employs skills that block Nameless' magic and teleportation, forcing the latter to heal by leveling up from collateral damage. Their fight is interrupted by a young Julius, whose presence as the Hero frightens Ariel due to his guaranteed victory against the Demon Lord. Seizing the opportunity, Ariel distracts him and uses Abyss magic to vaporize Nameless, a spell capable of killing immortals. In the present timeline, Shun refuses assistance from his allies, insisting on confronting Hugo alone.
