Urban legends have stepped out of stories and into the world, and while nearly everyone has heard one, hardly anyone meets one. They occupy the edges of ordinary reality, and their numbers have swelled since a faceless girl started being spotted across Japan. Anyone who encounters her, or any of the legends that follow in her wake, has little chance alone and can only hope the boy in the red hood arrives first, because his help may be the difference between surviving the night and not.
