This revelation proves that the true culprit, disguised as Caules, had been part of the group on the Mystic Eyes Collection Train all along. Lord El-Melloi II then identifies the actual perpetrator as the former director of the Modern Magecraft Theories Department, a man rumored to have had his heart stolen by Fairies.
