Ep. 2: Honoka Secures Auditorium and Names Group μ's While Seeking Maki's Music
Honoka obtains permission to use the school auditorium for a concert scheduled one month later, despite Umi’s skepticism regarding their readiness. Lacking a group name, Honoka organizes a contest, only to realize they have no song to practice. Umi reluctantly agrees to write lyrics and places Honoka and Kotori on a rigorous exercise regimen to improve their stamina. Meanwhile, Honoka fails to recruit Maki Nishikino for composition, prompting Eli to warn that the idol project might harm the school's reputation. Morale rises when the class supports the initiative and selects μ's as the group name. Honoka approaches Maki again to demonstrate the seriousness of their work, presenting Umi’s lyrics. After receiving advice from student vice-president Nozomi Tojo, Maki sends Honoka a CD containing the composed track and anonymously votes for μ's on an idol ranking website.
