Bandit leader Basara is determined to find the diamonds Lupin has hidden somewhere in India. He employs a sinister invention called the Suicide Ray Gun to extract information from Lupin. In an attempt to make Lupin talk, Basara also tries using a fake Fujiko as part of his interrogation strategy. The episode focuses on Basara's efforts to uncover the secret location through these coercive means.
