A mysterious group that reveres a solid gold statue of the Virgin Mary kidnaps Fujiko. The cult plans to execute her by burning her at the stake, accusing her of witchcraft. During the ordeal, Lupin notices that the cult leader and one of the kidnappers appear vaguely familiar. This raises the question of whether he has encountered these individuals in the past. The situation presents a dangerous threat to Fujiko as the group prepares to carry out their ritualistic punishment against her.
