Yuko pursues Momo after she runs away and proposes that Momo abandon her role as a magical girl to become Yuko's vassal, allowing Yuko to assist in searching for Sakura. Momo deduces that accepting this arrangement would weaken her capabilities. Consequently, she rejects the deal, insisting instead that Yuko help her search for Sakura. Momo declares that she will only agree to become Yuko's vassal if she can defeat Yuko in combat, maintaining her strength while seeking the missing person.
