Ep. 9: Alibaba's Past Revealed as Sinbad Intervenes in Balbadd's Crisis
Alibaba recounts his history, explaining that his father died during Cassim’s palace attack, prompting his exile. He returned to Balbadd to atone, only to discover his childhood slums were destroyed by the government following an epidemic that killed his sister. Cassim urges Alibaba to lead the Fog Troupe against King Abhmad, whose neglect has caused national turmoil. While Sinbad listens from an adjacent room, the Fog Troupe attacks the hotel to kill Sinbad and rescue Alibaba. Sinbad and his aides defeat the attackers, then persuade Alibaba to join him at the palace to reason with Abhmad. The next day, Abhmad rejects Alibaba’s plea for aid. Outside, Aladdin and Morgiana wait among a large crowd, where Aladdin feels uneasy upon seeing a stranger pass by.
