The Nine Schools Competition continues without major issues until several students sustain serious injuries under questionable conditions. Consequently, Tatsuya is assigned the responsibility of forming and commanding a new squad to participate in the tournament on behalf of the injured participants. This assignment requires him to quickly organize a team capable of representing their school in the ongoing competition, shifting the focus from the original competitors to the newly assembled group led by Tatsuya.
