Ep. 33: Lien visits Liko, causing emotional tension before a Yokubal attack forces family reconciliation.

Liko’s father, Lien, an archaeologist, visits the girls after learning their secret identities as Pretty Cures from the Headmaster. While he investigates spirits and Diamond Linkle Stones, Liko feels neglected, believing he prioritizes work over family. Mirai comforts Liko by discussing parental worries, while her own father speaks to Lien about children’s resilience. The visit is interrupted when Benigio summons a Water Don-Yokubal, injuring Lien as he shields Liko. After the Cures defeat the monster, Lien explains that the spirits likely reflect the girls’ emotions and promises to visit again. Meanwhile, another spirit joins the Rainbow Carriage, marking a moment of understanding between father and daughter despite their initial conflict.
