To help the Misfit class achieve Daleth, Kalego assigns personal tutors. Jazz and Alocer receive Furfur, Goemon and Picero get Vepar, Elizabetta and Clara are paired with Raim, Crocel and Kamui have Mr Hat, and Sabnock and Asmodeus are taught by Balam. Iruma and Lied are assigned Balse, who promises only to train their fighting spirits. Ameri regrets not seeing Iruma before school and is disappointed he cancels their reading of First Love Memories due to lessons. Balse reveals that his cousin, Barbatos Bachiko, will actually teach them. Unlike Balse, she is loud, violent, and cruel, teaching only because Sullivan asked personally. She immediately begins training by hurling abuse, forcing obedience to childish demands, and making them wear dresses for her amusement.
