Ep. 5: Mash's Team Faces the Life Crystal Challenge After Early Failures

Mash, Dot, and Finn successfully clear the initial selection exam round and are grouped into a three-person team from the nine survivors. They must now compete in the Life Crystal event, which requires destroying opponents' crystals. However, two teammates prematurely destroy their assigned crystals before the match begins, leaving only one crystal for the trio. Consequently, the members split up to start the game from separate locations. During this phase, Finn encounters Carpaccio Luo-yang from the Orca Dorm, setting the stage for the next phase of the competition.
