A menace emerges from the island of Bardos in the Aegean Sea as Doctor Hell leads an army of mechanical creatures against humanity. Opposing him is a powerful giant robot known as Mazinger Z, constructed from the unbreakable metal chogokin and armed with advanced weapons. The machine is piloted by Kouji Kabuto, a young and impulsive teenager seeking revenge for his grandfather's death and determined to defend Japan from the invasion.
