Set in 2122, most people own Medabots, but Ikki Tenryou cannot afford a new model and hesitates to purchase an old one on sale. When a gang of Rockers begins terrorizing his classmates, Ikki is compelled to intervene. He is forced to fight using an old model Medabot and a damaged medal. The narrative questions whether this inexperienced team can succeed in saving the day or if they will fail before their efforts truly begin.
