Shogo Yahagi discovers that the world he lives is controlled and manipulated to keep the population unaware of the true nature of their situation. This is part 1 of a 3 series OVA releases. The bulk of Megazone's 23 footage was edited and redubbed and a new ending added by the original studio that produced Megazone 23 into Robotech: The Untold Story that does not fit into the Megazon 23 continuity and has by some been mislabeled as part of the OVA series.

Megazone Part 2: Please give your secret

This OVA is the second installment of a three-part series, set approximately six months to one year after the first part. Shougo Yahagi must make a choice that could lead to direct conflict with powerful elites who have altered the world. The source notes that new footage was added to change the ending of the first part. This additional material was included in the English dubbed Megazone 23 Part 11 and Part 1 Special Film on Laserdisc, specifically the international edition labeled W7bL 1007. This special film represents the added footage used when Megazone 23 was recut and dubbed into Robotech: The movie.
