Miki Fujino is discovered strangled in a park. Takagi locates a stamp card near the body and determines it does not belong to the victim, who keeps hers in her purse. The team plans to conduct a stakeout the following day. During the operation, Chiba purchases food at a convenience store and is recognized by the Detective Boys. Consequently, he is forced to include them in the stakeout. The group proceeds with the surveillance despite the unexpected addition of the children, who tag along as Chiba attempts to manage the situation while maintaining the investigation's cover.
