Kogoro and Ai react with shock and anger upon learning that Ryusuke Higo and Yoko Okino appear to be dating. Consequently, Ai engages Kogoro to investigate their relationship. During an online search, they discover the couple was seen at a restaurant in Haido City. Conan notes that a new establishment in the city is owned by a senior of Higo, prompting Ai and Kogoro to force Conan to accompany them for surveillance. To avoid detection, Haibara deletes her favorite song, Dandy Lion, from her phone. The group proceeds to the location to spy on the suspected pair, driven by their intense emotional response to the news of the potential romance between the two individuals.
