Upon regaining consciousness, Conan discovers he is trapped in a dark, confined space. He utilizes his detective badge to contact his allies for assistance. Initially, he suspects he has been hidden inside a coffin. Consequently, Ran and the children hurry to a crematorium to intervene before President Karahashi is cremated. They arrive just in time to check the coffin, but Conan is nowhere to be found. The group is left confused by his sudden disappearance from the container intended for the president's remains. This unexpected turn of events leaves the characters searching for answers regarding Conan's whereabouts and the true nature of the trap he faced in the darkness.
