While walking with Sonoko and Sera under cherry blossoms, Ran recalls meeting Shinichi thirteen years ago. At kindergarten, Ran faced bullying from boys until Shinichi, a new student, intervened. He grew suspicious when teacher Ronsuke Efune stared at Ran constantly and showed her favoritism. Although Efune explained his behavior, Shinichi remained convinced the teacher was plotting something. This flashback reveals the origins of their connection during their early school years.
