A man blames others for Aiko's death while bending coins. Naeko Miike recalls childhood memories with Chiba. She meets Lieutenant Shiori Yagi and skilled fighter Touko Momosaki for karaoke. Afterward, a man asks Touko to investigate a scream in a park. He attacks her, fails, then kills her with a metal bat. Police investigate the body. Conan notes Touko pointed toward a swing set near a no parking sign. Shiori and Naeko are interrogated. Shiori sees the swing set and recalls something significant but leaves without speaking. The investigation begins with these initial clues and memories connecting the victims and officers involved in the case.
