Professor Moriarty, having just stolen a gem, becomes determined to retrieve it at any cost after a little girl named Polly pickpockets the item. He kidnaps Polly in a bag and demands to know the location of the gem. The situation escalates as Moriarty pursues the child relentlessly. It falls to Hound and Dr. Waston to intervene and rescue Polly from the dangerous situation created by the Professor's obsession with recovering the stolen property.
