Ep. 2: Yuki flees Johannes while Gingka and friends uncover the Star Fragment's power and Nemesis's threat.

Yuki arrives to study the Star Fragment but is attacked by Johannes, who defeats his Bey Anubius. Meanwhile, Gingka defeats Kenta and Kyoya beats Benkei during practice. Madoka discovers mode-change abilities for Fang Leone and Cosmic Pegasus, but Kyoya ignores this advice. Yuki escapes Johannes only to be abandoned by Kyoya, who uses him as bait. Gingka intervenes, saving Yuki and revealing his Bey holds Star Fragment power. Johannes retreats, and Yuki collapses. In the hospital, Yuki explains that his grandfather told him the Star Fragment created Pegasus and L-Drago. He witnessed it explode, sending eleven beams of light, one of which empowered his Bey. Yuki warns that Nemesis and the Black Sun seek this power to control the world. He mentions eight Legendary Bladers, including Gingka and Kyoya, who can stop them. Gingka vows to stop Nemesis and renames his Bey Cosmic Pegasus. The group decides to find the other Legendary Bladers, while Johannes watches from a rooftop, determined to hinder their quest.
