Zyro Kurogane challenges Shinobu Hiryūin, the No. 1 Blader, in the Zero-G Stadium. Shinobu’s Ninja Salamander evades Zyro’s Samurai Ifrit using the stadium’s slope, frustrating Zyro. Desperate, Zyro executes Shooting Star Crush, but the attack damages the stadium center. Shinobu capitalizes on this, knocking out Samurai Ifrit and ending Zyro’s winning streak. Defeated, Zyro visits Benkei Hanawa’s burger joint. Mal eats Zyro’s fries while Zyro expresses his desire to defeat Shinobu and rival Gingka Hagane. Benkei reveals he knew Gingka and former legend Kyoya Tategami. Benkei agrees to train Zyro, with Mal offering assistance, as Zyro commits to becoming stronger.
