After completing their mission to save the world, Ink and Sumi return home but find they can no longer transform or use magic. Ink becomes depressed because she can no longer help Nao-kun study English. When Sumi realizes Ink's distress, she devises a plan to help her friend. Sumi recreates their uniform so that they can cosplay as magical girls, allowing them to maintain their connection to their past roles despite their lost powers.
