After Black Rabbit tests them with a card game that Izayoi wins through specific tactics, the group travels to a rural village in the eastern district. There, they encounter Jin, the leader of the former John Doe community. Izayoi sneaks away to find the world's edge, where Black Rabbit, boasting of her elite status as a servant of the Garden’s creator, joins him in a battle against a water god. She helps him win a large water tree sapling. Desperate to regain their name and flag, they summon Izayoi, Asuka, and You. Izayoi agrees to help Black Rabbit, who values the group’s identity for her former members. Meanwhile, Asuka and You discover that Galdo Gaspar maintains his high status by kidnapping and killing hostages from other communities, prompting Asuka to challenge him to a Gift Game. The group visits Shiroyasha, a Demon Lord of the Thousand Eyes, to appraise the children’s gifts. During the visit, the children realize they originate from different worlds with distinct seasons. You challenges Shiroyasha to a game involving riding a Griffon, recalling her past illness and a wooden pendant from her father. After You succeeds, Shiroyasha provides Gift Cards instead of appraisals. Izayoi notes his card reads Code Unknown, while Galdo collapses after being bitten by a small blond girl.

Jan 26, 2013The No Names restore their water supply using a gift from the water god, allowing Black Rabbit, Asuka, and You to bathe and converse. Asuka and You wear Shiroyasha-made clothes from Black Rabbit’s wardrobe, with Asuka choosing a defensive scarlet dress. Izayoi intercepts Galdo’s subordinates, revealing their hostages are dead, and urges them to spread news of Jin’s vow to defeat the Demon Lords. Though initially reluctant, Jin agrees to the strategy for strategic alliances. The group enters a vampire-infested forest to challenge Galdo, who transforms into a tiger beast. Feb 2, 2013While You recovers, Black Rabbit and Izayoi plan to rescue Leticia Draculair, a former Demon Lord now enslaved. Leticia visits to reveal her master, Luios Perseus, plans to sell her, preventing retrieval via Gift Game. She admits aiding Galdo to test Izayoi, Asuka, and You. After Black Rabbit defends Leticia from Perseus members, Izayoi halts further violence. The group meets Luios, who refuses a duel but offers Leticia in exchange for Black Rabbit’s servitude. Leticia previously surrendered her strongest gift to meet Jin. Black Rabbit considers the deal until You intervenes with cookies, prompting an apology between her and Asuka. Izayoi then presents two legendary gifts from Kraken and Graerae communities, granting rights to challenge any group. Asuka uses the gift Deen to defeat Stroms and challenges Ratten, whose song fails before she dissolves into light. Weser also vanishes when his summoning item breaks. The demon lord Pest, revealed to embody eighty million evil spirits from the black plague, attacks with a deadly wind. You is injured protecting a child, but Asuka blocks the wind with Deen. Black Rabbit transports the group to the Moon Palace, Chandra Mahal, weakening Pest. Asuka uses the Spear of Indra to defeat Pest. Later, the children explain the Pied Piper legend and leave for Rattënfanger, entrusting Asuka with Deen and a fairy named Merun. Izayoi confronts Mandra in Salamandra Palace about staging Pest's defeat to elevate Sandra. Mandra offers her life, but Izayoi refuses, preferring Salamandra's aid. Finally, Izayoi and others attempt to re-fertilize land at the No-Name community when a letter descends.
