Genki and his companions try to lead Moo away from the Phoenix, but they are confronted by Pixie and an army of the Pirate Dragon army led by Vulcan. During the battle, Pixie sustains serious injuries. Instead of defeating them, Moo goes berserk as his mind is controlled by the evil fury of his soul. Meanwhile, Pixie faces the danger of becoming a lost disk. Big Blue decides to fuse with Pixie to save her, even though this action causes him to cease existing. The two merge into Granity. Holly realizes that summoning the Phoenix's soul may require fusing monsters into which the Phoenix's soul was reincarnated.
