Morizo to Kikkoro

Morizo and Kikkoro are mascot characters representing EXPO 2004 Aichi, Japan. They reside in Kasho Forest in Seto, where the event takes place. Both are forest fairies who highlight the power and beauty of nature. Morizo is an ancient, wise being with a long life spanning thousands of years. Kikkoro is a younger forest fairy who recently came into existence. He is very fond of Morizo and shows great curiosity about the world around him. His daily experiences are filled with discovery and amazement.
