During a public demonstration, the robot Max goes haywire, killing CEO Hyeok-Eun Kang and leaving officer Tae-Pyeong Han comatose. Tae-Pyeong's spirit comes to inside Max, and he uses his new form to rescue Kang's niece Nana from her uncle's scheme to seize control. Adjusting badly to a mechanical body, he takes on RCC and the lethal machines built by Kang Min, and in a final confrontation the battered robot gives itself up to shield Nana, showing its humanity at the last.
