A painting titled *The Shaman Sorceress* is left at a home by a mute girl and her father. The artwork is attributed to a shaman named Mohwa, who has spent her life practicing shamanism alongside her mute daughter, Nang-Yi. Mohwa's son, Wook-Yi, returns home after years away studying, but he has become a Christian. His return creates tension with Mohwa, leading to a conflict that results in family tragedy.
