Ep. 9: PoMPoMs face crisis as Kanata's solo cheer attempt ends in hospital rain injury

The PoMPoMs encounter a crisis after discovering Kanata has been practicing cheers alone. Megumi confides in Shion and Nodoka before speaking with Kanata, who returns to the location of her previous somersault twist. Her second attempt results in a hospitalization as rain falls. Later, Suzuha guides Megumi to Kanata’s bedside. Megumi tells Kanata she does not need to perform for the sake of a promise, but Kanata dismisses the injury as minor. Eventually, Nodoka sings their practice song and stands from her wheelchair. Kanata embraces her after a jump in the rain. As the group reunites, Kanata expresses her desire to continue cheering with the PoMPoMs, allowing practice to resume.
