Brave cat Pero wagers a dangerous challenge against wealthy and deceitful Grumon, claiming he can circumnavigate the globe in 80 days. If he succeeds, Grumon must give him all his wealth; if he fails, Pero will become Grumon's lifelong servant. Accompanied by his loyal companions, the large Kato and the courageous Small Mouse, Pero sets out on the journey.
