Madara Seals the Tailed Beasts While Shukaku Remembers His Past
Dec 18, 2014The Shinobi Alliance retreats as tailed beasts fight Madara. Gaara uses the Grand Sand Mausoleum Seal on Shukaku, but Madara escapes via Susanoo. Naruto and Kurama counterattack the Gedo Statue, forcing Madara to lose his right arm. A White Zetsu provides Madara with his original right eye, which he inserts to control the statue. Kakashi fails to stop it. Obito uses his Rinnegan to repel the beasts, and the statue restrains them to extract Gyuuki and Kurama. Naruto struggles to suppress Kurama's chakra. Madara shifts focus to Shukaku. Gaara tries to save Shukaku with Desert Hands. Shukaku recalls his previous host, Bunpuku, and realizes Gaara is the one who taught him about heart and acceptance. Shukaku deflects Madara's Susanoo attack with Absolute Defense. Madara breaks the chain and resumes sealing Shukaku.

Madara Seals Tailed Beasts While Sasuke Attacks and Naruto Faces Death
Dec 25, 2014Shukaku halts Susanoo’s Sword, which Madara redirects toward Gaara, saved by his sand. Shukaku warns against overexertion, but Gaara fights to prove his equality with the One-Tail. The tailed beasts are dragged into the Gedo Statue; Killer Bee severs a Gyuuki tentacle, and Kurama ejects Naruto, instructing Gaara to catch him. White Zetsu confirms preparations are complete. Madara battles Tobirama while Gaara removes Naruto from the conflict. Hashirama infuses Sasuke with chakra and a technique to counter Madara’s Sage mode. Sasuke attacks with Tobirama’s distraction but is impaled midair. Tobi Zetsu assaults the Shinobi Alliance using a small Wood Style: Several Thousand Hands, countered by Hiruzen. Orochimaru and Taka prepare a surprise attack. Karin weeps sensing Sasuke’s danger. Gaara brings Naruto to Tsunade while Sakura tries to sustain him. Tobi and White Zetsu reveal Naruto is dying due to Kurama’s extraction, leading Sakura and Karin to realize both Naruto and Sasuke will perish if the situation persists.
