Anja utilizes the Star Crystal to possess Evangeline, who subsequently petrifies Asuna and numerous allies of Negi. Despite this severe setback, Negi manages to turn the tide with assistance from his remaining students. He establishes a Pactio contract with the vampire Evangeline, a move that, together with Chachamaru, finalizes his complete Pactio collection. However, securing this magical bond does not immediately resolve the dangerous situation or free the petrified characters from their predicament.
