In 5012 AD, aliens invaded Earth, forcing humanity to the moon. Androids created by humans now fight Machine Lifeforms created by the aliens on the surface. Pod 042 is a support craft assigned to assist YoRHa Soldier 2B during the 243rd Descent Operation on March 10, 11945. This unit will also coordinate with Pod 153, which supports YoRHa Aircraft Soldier 9S, to report regular mission status for this joint operation.
