During class hours, Doi sensei fails to appear, prompting Rantarou and the others to investigate. They locate him in the infirmary, where he is snoring loudly while asleep. The teacher has been unconscious since inhaling smoke from a new sleeping drug. Despite his deep slumber, Doi sensei appears to be experiencing vivid dreams. The group observes his condition as he remains unaware of their presence, continuing to sleep soundly in the quiet medical room.
