Following the sudden collapse of Hodo Hodo Castle seven decades ago, persistent rumors claim the ruins are haunted. To avoid taking a supplementary examination, Rantarou and his classmates from the first-year Ha Class propose a group investigation to the Headmaster. They argue that visiting the site together will eliminate any fear. The Headmaster grants them permission to explore the location instead of completing the required academic makeup work.
