Separated from his peers, he finds himself alone and hungry in the middle of a forest. In this isolated state, he suddenly hears a strange voice repeating the phrase "odango odango odango odango." This unexpected auditory experience occurs while he is stranded away from the group, marking a distinct moment during the race where his physical limitations lead to a solitary encounter with an unknown sound in the wilderness.
