Several third-year students tasked with collecting firewood behind the academy near the Dining Hall have failed to return as requested by the Lady. Rantarou and his companions investigate the situation to determine what has happened to the missing group. Upon searching the area, they locate Kanzaki and Tsugiya senpai stranded near a cart. It is revealed that these two seniors were abandoned by their fellow students during the assignment, leaving them isolated and unable to proceed with the rest of the party.
