Shinbei discovers he has completely run out of conditioner, causing his hair to become hard and bristly without it. Takamaru, a fourth-year student, notices this condition and attempts to cut Shinbei's hair. However, the effort ends in failure as Takamaru's tools become completely worn out during the attempt. This unexpected result leaves Takamaru shocked by the situation.
