Ratarou, Kirimaru, and Shinbei travel back from Maitake Castle after delivering a letter. A sudden rainstorm and thunder force them to run for cover. They arrive at the ruins of a castle to escape the severe weather. This event occurs while the trio is returning from their mission. The group seeks refuge in the abandoned structure as the storm intensifies around them.
