First-year Ha-class nintama ninjas accompany Yamada-sensei on an investigation mission to Far-back Mountain. Upon reaching Mushroom Pass, the group approaches a watchtower where they discover ninja passcodes and a recently constructed bridge. The presence of these new structures and codes raises questions about the activities occurring within the mountain area. The ninjas must determine the nature of the situation unfolding in Far-back Mountain while following their teacher's lead during this patrol.
