The loincloths are discovered to be secret messages belonging to Sankotake castle. Three swordsmen have been pursuing these items as well. Rantarou and his companions observe a clandestine meeting between the swordsmen and the Suppontake ninjas. This encounter exposes the deception surrounding the loincloth messages, bringing the entire scheme to light.
