Kurokage Panzou-sensei leaves his mortar behind at the Ninjutsu Academy. Third-year Ha-class students Urakaze Tounai and Santanda Kazuma decide to deliver the item back to their teacher's residence. The two boys set out on a journey to Kurokage Panzou-sensei's house with the intention of returning the lost property. However, their mission encounters unexpected developments during their trip to retrieve the mortar for their instructor.
