Ep. 1: Yato Possesses Hiyori During Her First High School Day

Hiyori’s first day at high school turns chaotic when Yato possesses her body after she accidentally slips out while sleeping. He exploits her form to perform embarrassing stunts, promoting his services to classmates with Kofuku’s assistance. Yukine seeks help from Tenjin and Mayu to stop the behavior, but they are distracted. While Hiyori tries to reclaim her body, she and Yukine discover a student possessing a hidden camera in the changing rooms. This individual is possessed by a phantom. When the student attempts to jump from a window, Yato rescues him and subdues the spirit but breaks Hiyori’s shoulder. Yato receives punishment for the injury, leaving Hiyori to start the next school day with a strange reputation.
